Yes. That’s right. I just said Free Printable Macgyver Valentines! Now, for those of you who are like, who is Macgyver, first of all… you must be under the age of 30. Secondly, stop everything you are doing and watch an episode on Netflix and you will know what I am talking about. Don’t have Netflix, just watch Macgyver diffuse a bomb with a paperclip at the last second in this youtube clip.
So, every Valentines I ask the boys what type of Valentine they think they would like to give out. Most years it has something to do with what they are currently watching or something that they love to play with. You know, things like transformers, cowboys, and trucks. Well, this year they both said “Macgyver”! Now, I am always one for a challenge, but I truly wondered how to accomplish this. I then started to think about all that Macgyver represents. He is a guy who uses the items he has around him in order to get out of sticky situations. He truly does almost to the point of non-belief. Ok, ok, it’s a tv show. Anyway, I remember all of his uses for paperclips. From there… you have your FREE printable Macgyver Valentine. Just attach a little snack baggy of treats and you are done! Now, if I knew the kids in the Kindergarten and Fourth grade would get the humor behind it, I would’ve put a stick of gum and a string inside each baggy!
In order to grab this free printable Macgyver Valentine for yourself, just right click and save the image below. If you are on a smart phone just press and hold the image to save it. From there you can print these from home or send them off to be printed. I love to use Walgreens because they offer square prints and I can usually find a coupon code.
Want to know how to make that super cool paperclip heart? It is simple. Just grab both ends of the clip and pull it apart. I attached mine with glue dots (Zots). They come in a roll of about 300 and you can find them at craft stores like Michael’s. You could also just attached with tape.
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this one! I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
