I love creating Advent Calendar and Devotionals for the kids every year. It is something that the kids enjoy counting down and learning more about the love of our God and I really enjoy the research that goes behind it. Last year I created one especially for kids that went along with the Adventure Storybook Bible. Of course, you can still use this with any other Storybook Bible or the Bible if you’d like.
This year I didn’t create my own, but I did contribute to one day of a very special Advent Devotional that was put out by Awana. There are so many wonderful people who contributed to this. What I love about this particular Advent Devotional is that you can customize it for individual, couples, elementary age, or teens. Just choose which application suits your family the best. You can find the devotional I contributed on Day 2.
